BOSTON — Today, Attorney General Martha Coakleys Office and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) Commissioner Laurie Burt announced that their offices have initiated civil and administrative enforcement cases against seven motor vehicle inspection stations and twelve inspectors for allegedly conducting hundreds of fraudulent inspections in violation of the states Enhanced Emissions and Safety Test Program.
